Strengths/Special Abilities:
[/span]Weaknesses:
Personality (At least 2 paragraphs): Julia is a very free-spirited woman. She is open, assertive and confident. She's got every ounce of faith in herself and isn't afraid to approach people for any reason, nor is she afraid to try anything once. She is 100% her own person and, some might say she lives like she has a death wish. Nothing could be farther from the truth, however, as she loves life and tries to live it to the fullest. To Julia, this means stepping out of her comfort zone as often as possible... testing her limits and boundaries. Julia is a very independent person. She doesn't like asking for help unless she absolutely has to. Usually she prefers to do everything herself, even if it takes her multiple tries. She doesn't like to give up on a project or a goal. She is extremely hard-working and will do whatever it takes to fulfill a goal she has set for herself.
Julia has a very outgoing personality and, as such, interacts with a variety of people. While she tends to get along quite well with some, as many find her positive attitude rather infectious... others tend to find her irritating. Her harsh honesty and habit of 'calling it as she sees it' can make her seem rude and heartless, but anyone who spends enough time with her could easily see that Julia's just trying to be realistic... that she feels that being truthful and up-front just avoids bigger problems in the long run.
Family and Contacts...
"I realize that the only way we've made it through all this is by hanging together."

Character History...
"I was gonna say you look like you'd seen a ghost, but you'd probably be stoked."
Julia was very much a daddy's girl growing up, though her entire family was pretty close. They were an outdoorsy bunch, spending most of their summer vacations camping, boating, swimming, hiking and waterskiing. Friendly family games of basketball, volleyball and backyard football were also the norm in the Marx family, though Julia herself never played on any sort of team. When her father felt they were old enough, Julia and Julian were both given lessons in firing a gun and archery.
Ever since she was a small child it was kind of a tradition that Julia's father would secretly give her one extra little gift at Christmas... and every year that gift was a yo-yo. Between holidays she often collected yo-yos of her own, but the ones from her father were always special in some way... special to her, at least. For a few years they were nothing more than toys to her, until one day she was eight and she was randomly wandering through the house, flinging her favorite Duncan, when suddenly it shot out and knocked a small vase off the table and shattered it. She was grounded for three days because of it, but when she finally was allowed to play with her yo-yos again, she became dedicated to learning how to use it properly, and perfecting her aim. It was fun to see just how much she could do with it.
When Julia was in her Senior year of high school, she began dating a guy named Alec who was a few years older than her. Her parents were never really in full support of the relationship because of the age difference, but Julia's father convinced her mother that she could be trusted enough to make a responsible decision. They weren't happy when he proposed to her right after her high school graduation, but still they supported her. Julia, however, was so wrapped up in the relationship that she hadn't really planned much for her future. She started going to cosmetology school simply for something to do while Alec pursued his career as a firefighter. Once she got her license, she took up a chair at a local hair salon and actually made a decent living at it.
Four years ago, Julia's fiance was on duty and responded to a call about an apartment fire. He and his fellow crew members managed to pull out all of the potential victims, but by the time Alec managed to pull young Maggie Foster from the flames, she had already inhaled more smoke and burned more of her body than she could really handle. Alec had called Julia to meet him at the hospital, where they waited together to find out the fate of young Maggie as she underwent emergency surgery.
Unfortunately, the doctor finally came out and informed Maggie's parents that their daughter had passed. Distraught with grief, the girl's father immediately pulled out a gun and aimed it at Alec, blaming him for not saving her. The shot was fired, but not before Julia jumped in front of the man she loved, the bullet hitting her square in the chest. Maggie's father was immediately taken into custody and Julia was taken into emergency surgery.
It was deemed quickly that her heart had been damaged by the gunshot and that she would not survive without a transplant. Young Maggie's mother, feeling guilty over her husband's wrongdoing and not wanting another person to suffer, offered up her daughter's heart. The organ was deemed a match, papers were signed, and the heart transplant was successfully performed.
Ever since that day, Julia has been haunted by the ghost of the girl who died in that fire. She first started making appearances when Julia would try to spend time alone with Alec. At first, she would play silly little pranks on the two of them, but Maggie made it clear that she didn't want Alec around anymore, finding him not only responsible for her own death but also for the time her father was now serving in prison. The spirit began planting evidence that Julia was having an affair, and try as Julia might to convince him otherwise, he ended up breaking off the engagement and leaving her.
Once Alec was out of the way, Maggie started opening Julia's eyes to the supernatural. Being a spirit, she had access to a whole other dimension really, and could see things that Julia couldn't. Though it took her quite a long time to pull out of the depression that the breakup had caused her, she eventually started listening to the things Maggie was telling her... at first because Maggie wouldn't leave her alone otherwise. But the more people she helped with their supernatural problems, the better she started to feel. It was like therapy to her, and over time hunting became much more of a job to her than doing hair... it became a lifestyle, and Maggie was a pretty decent partner.
