Castiel had little luck lately. He knew that things had gotten completely out of control. First, there was his whole "God Complex' and then everything that happened recently....the falling of his brothers and sisters. As he watched them fall it broke his heart. That was never what he wanted for Heaven. Never. Castiel had been trying to help Heaven, not destroy it, and once more it seemed that it was destroyed. Castiel sighed. There were some things that he just couldn't handle anymore. This was one of them. He knew he had to find Dean, and he knew how pissed Dean would be over everything. First...there was the angles, and to make matters worse....he had already accidentally let Crowley free. He had gone back to the church, and thought he could handle Crowley on his own, but one of Crowley's minions had come to him.... one of Crowley's many minions... and helped Crowley escape. Castiel clearly didn't have any powers what so ever. Now...Dean would be more furious at him then ever.
Still though.... Castiel knew that had to try and speak with him. They were close once upon a time, and perhaps that could happen again. Perhaps even with seeing Castiel at his final state, Dean would be understanding. He hoped so. If not, then Castiel had lots of work to do. Castiel sighed as he continued walking. He walked towards where he remembered the Men of Letters building to be. Still, he wasn't having much luck. Walking was taking too long. He was hot, and tired, and needed a shower, or a rest. He wasn't sure which. He knew he stunk and looked like a homeless person. His jacket was torn a bit, and his shoes were down to their last laces.
He sighed and finally decided to try and hitch a ride. He hitchhiked across one of the interstates and finally a truck pulled over. "Where to pal?" The driver asked him.
Castiel told him a location near the Men Of Letters building, but not actually IN it. The driver nodded and let him inside. "You look like Hell man," the driver said to him.
Castiel shrugged, "A lot has happened... I am attempting to see if my friends can help..." he said. The driver nodded and he handed Cas a glass of water. Castiel was grateful and took it. Finally, after a few hours of driving, the driver pulled over to Castilels requested location. "Good luck pal, hope you find your friends..." he said.
"Thank you..." Castiel said to him.
The driver nodded and watched Castiel leave, "Good luck Castiel," he said to him, "I hope you are able to help...and good luck to you..." he said again and then rolled the window up. What Castiel didn't realize was that it was one of his brothers. However, Castiel turned around when he said that and the driver was gone already.
Castiel sighed just as he was dropped off, around the area where he thought to remember the Men of Letters building to be. Finally, everything snuck up on him and he started to shake a bit. He picked up the phone and dialed Dean's number shakily.
