First Things First...
"We both know where this ends. One of us dies."
sofiel
The Basics...
"Whatever you decide, decide. Both feet in or both feet out."
Name: Sofiel
Nicknames: Mother Nature
Gender: Female
Age/DOB: Beginning of time
Occupation: The Angel of Nature... Former Gatekeeper and Guardian of the Garden of Eden
Member Group: Fallen Angels
Playby: Miranda Kerr
In Depth...
"It's not about fault. It's about will."
Likes: the warm sun on her skin, the wind in her hair, the way the sky smells just before it rains, the sunset over a beach of white sand, mud between her toes, all animals, the colors of fall, flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables... nature in all its purest forms
Dislikes: animal slaughter for sport, litter, big cities full of smog and pollution, demons, war/fights/arguments, loud, unnatural noises
Dreams: Being deemed worthy by God of returning to her place in Eden
Strengths/Special Abilities: Angel abilities as listed in the SPN wiki, communication and control of plants, communication and control of animals, she gives off an aura of serenity that often puts others at ease, she most often is very good at keeping cool under pressure. Her powers have been weakened severely after being cut off from Heaven. Using them takes more effort then they did before. The more she uses her abilities, the more it drains her... the closer to human she becomes.
Weaknesses: Enochian symbols, angel blades, holy fire, injured animals, natural sweets like vanilla beans or pure cane sugar, easily distracted by nature and sometimes gets a bit enthralled by it
Personality (At least 2 paragraphs): Sofiel tends to be somewhat of a peacekeeper. She does her best not to get involved with humans and human issues. This isn't to say that she's completely anti-social, but she does what she can to avoid conflict. Usually when an argument or fight starts to arise, she will either ignore it, disappear, or calmly walk away. Her priorities have always been on the natural world, in her Father's beautiful creations. Although mankind are also a part of that equation, she feels that she failed in that area once and doesn't want to put herself in that situation again. She has no desire to be a part of the decisions that humans make, though she will do anything she can to keep any harm from coming to the Earth.
Most people tend to feel a sense of peace in Sofiel's easy-going presence. She has a gentle touch and a sweet, soft-spoken voice that many have described as akin to a cool Spring breeze. Sofiel is absolutely enamored with nature and sometimes seems to get a bit lost in it. It isn't uncommon to find her staring off into space or humming a little tune for no apparent reason. She also may stop to talk to the animals and plants around her, which can make her appear odd or eccentric to others.
Family and Contacts...
"I realize that the only way we've made it through all this is by hanging together."
Siblings: all angels
Important others: n/a
Character History...
"I was gonna say you look like you'd seen a ghost, but you'd probably be stoked."
Of course, it has been said that the Earth was created in six days, but time wasn't counted in the heavens then as it is here now. A day wasn't necessarily marked by a 24-hour cycle. So in the time that it took God to perfect his new creation, Sofiel grew and matured as well. And when He created man and placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, it was she whom He asked to guard the Tree of Knowledge. She, of course, was thrilled to be entrusted with a responsibility of such magnitude, and for some time she felt such pride in her post that it was difficult to sway her from it.
But that's exactly what Lucifer did. Enter the Serpent. At first his visits to the Garden seemed friendly and casual... just a big brother checking in on his little sister. Sofiel very much enjoyed her afternoon chats with Lucifer, and she became quite comfortable with him. That was when he started planting the seeds of doubt in her naive mind. Did God ask her to keep watch over the Tree of Knowledge because she was the best angel for the job? Or did He just want her out of the way of everything else? Lucifer told her of the world outside of the Garden, of all the glorious beauty that the rest of the Earth held... the beauty that she was missing because she was 'stuck' here.
It took a bit of convincing, but eventually curiosity and doubt got the best of Sofiel, and she asked her brother Lucifer to keep watch over Eden so that she could experience a bit of the world around her, to which he readily agreed. This, of course, left him with the opportunity to poison the minds of Adam and Eve, and to convince them to eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge.
God's punishment to Sofiel was simply to ban her from the Garden of Eden, which was a paradise unmatched by any other place she has seen even to this day. She longs to live among such an environment and has ever since wandered the Earth in hopes of finding something of its equal, though humans don't exactly make it easy for her. To this day she still feels extreme shame for letting her Father down.
Now that the angels have been cast out of Heaven, Sofiel is doing everything in her power to help her brothers and sisters return to their rightful place at their Father's side.
OOC Information...
"Well, no visible signs of douchery, I'll give you that."
Name: Jendi
RP experience: over ten years
Other Characters: Dean Winchester
RP Sample: Coming back home to Lawrence didn't mean the same thing anymore. No longer so much a reminder of the nursery fire that killed his mother so many years ago, the old Winchester family home was now actually being put to good use ever since he and Dean turned it over to Chloe for use as a safe-haven. He hadn't actually been inside since it happened, so he wasn't sure what sort of changes she might have made... had no idea what to expect. But Chloe was brilliant so, knowing her, he was sure that the old house sure didn't look the same as it used to on the inside.
He still had a key to the old place so he didn't bother knocking, the squeal of the Impala's tires echoing on the asphalt behind him as Dean drove away. Sam slid the key into the lock and turned the knob, pushing the door open slowly and peering inside. "Hello?" he called loudly before stepping into the house. Technically it still belonged to he and his brother but that didn't mean he felt the need to alarm any of Chloe's friends who might currently be staying there.
Sam gently closed the door behind him as he started to walk through the house, looking for any signs of life. "Chloe? Are you here?" He frowned slightly when he was greeted only by silence. He knew that he should have called ahead and let her know he was coming, but it was too late for that now. And after what had happened during their rescue of Bart, the two of them really needed to talk... like now.
