Gabriel leans against the window, looking out at the rain pouring down. It was calming to him to watch the rain, he loved storms, it was peaceful to him. Gave him a chance to think through everything that was on his mind and recently he had a lot on his mind. A lot of it was a blur, he remembered Lucifer slamming the blade though his heart and then black empty nothingness. Waking up had been the biggest blur for the weeks after, he had tried picking up the same routine as before but the trickster urge was gone. Lately he had been sitting around trying to amuse himself with small pranks, treats, and woman of his making but none of it did anything. He was bored, and feeling a little lonely. Another thing he wasn't use to. He had been alone a long time, choosing when to spend his time with others, he had never actually felt lonely before. It was strange and he didn't like it.
Sighing he pushed away from the window, the heat of the room, hitting him instantly in comparison to the cold of the window. Luce, his dog was instantly at his heels and he moved around him to sit down, sighing even louder. "Bring me back for nothing. Thanks Dad." He mumbles under his breath, leaning back in the seat. He knew it couldn't be for nothing, his father always had a reason or he wouldn't be here right now. He had thought about finding Dean and Sam, but had put it off. He could have went to Castiel, who was probably with the boys which is what stopped him. He had no clue what had happened or how long he had been gone, the world hadn't ended as far as he could tell. Sitting around was getting him no where, pushing himself back to his feet, he started pacing.
"A little push in the right direction would be nice."
