SITE PLOT
When they found out that one of the tablets containing the word of God held the instructions for how to close the gates of Hell forever, the Winchesters were sure they had hit the jackpot. After all of these years of putting their own lives on the line, quite literally at times, to keep the world safe, it seemed they had finally caught a break. And even after Sam started down the path of performing the trials to make this happen and it became evident that doing so was causing him excruciating pain and anguish, they continued on.
Meanwhile, Castiel was being brainwashed by Naomi, a paranoid archangel who was determined not to let another tablet, 'the Angel tablet', fall into the wrong hands, and that included Sam and Dean's. Believing he was doing the right thing, Cas went on the run, doing his best to hide from everyone he knew in order to keep the Angel tablet safe from the angels, the humans, and of course, the demons. When he found out from the angel Metatron, the original scribe of the tablets, however, that the Angel tablet contained instructions on closing the gates of Heaven as well, he felt it was his opportunity to right many wrongs in his past. After all, the angels hadn't exactly rained sunshine and puppies down on earth.
With Metatron's help, Castiel began performing the trials to close the gates of Heaven. But he found out too late from Naomi that Metatron wasn't only trying to close the gates, he was trying to banish all of the angels to Earth, as he believed they had destroyed his Father's home. In the meantime, Naomi also informed Dean that if Sam were to finish the trials, he would die. While Dean returned to Sam just in the nick of time to stop him from 'humanizing' the King of Hell, Crowley, and thus completing the last trial, Castiel went to Heaven to confront Metatron about Naomi's accusations. It was then that Metatron stole his grace, closing the gates of Heaven and causing all angels to fall.
Now Castiel, fully human, must find a way to reopen the Gates so that he and his brothers and sisters can return home. Meanwhile, though Sam managed to stop his progress in closing the gates of Hell, the trials have still left him weak and close to death.
Will Dean Winchester be able to save his brother this time without sacrificing himself?
Will the angels be able to find their way back home?
Will Castiel ever be able to adjust to being human?
Will Crowley attempt to team up with Team Free Will in order to regain his throne?
There are so many variables... So many questions that need to be answered... Now it seems that we all have a set of new trials, and we need your help. So where do you stand when the angels fall from grace?
