Personality (At least 2 paragraphs):
Kerubiel was always a soldier, always fighting for God and his brothers. He was not a leader but followed his orders with viciousness and his true form is a fearsome appearance. He holds a certain fondness for Balthazar, Gabriel and previously Castiel, having stood side by side with his brothers. His relationship with Castiel became strained as he followed the angels choices, eventually breaking when he was cast from heaven. He has a strong ability to learn and seeks to grow and is accepting of new ideas- but he holds Castiel responsible for the angels fall from heaven and seeks to make him accountable and face the consequence. It pains him that his brother made such a choice, yet he acts in what he believes is for the greater good. He may later learn the truth that Cas was tricked by Metatron, but for now he is non the wiser.
He holds the more positive views of Humans, liking their good qualities and potential yet is aware of their flaws. He holds Dean and Sam Winchester in high regard despite the humans own opinion of themselves. He was against the apocalypse ever happening, feeling that the wars to cast Lucifer were enough and harmed more than enough of his brothers, yet he remained quiet of his views uncertain that it was his place to even question and that they would be seen as blasphemous. It was his duty to fight to protect the seals, to not question the word of Father and assume all was for a greater purpose he couldn't yet see. Unlike other angels he chose to never mingle with the lives of humans, they have their free will and he respected it. He felt strained however when he viewed the choices of his own brothers and what paths they took, still he remained aware of his orders and his place. It took losing the wars to keep the seals from braking to set firmly the doubts he had felt- the conflict between following his orders and acting freely.

He is critical of who he is loyal to, choosing his brothers to stand by carefully and quietly questioning the word of God- yet hopeful. This hesitation is due to recent events and actions by his brothers, by those he was unquestionably loyal to and assumed their loyalty to the word of God. He never thought to question it until it was too late. He kept his doubts quiet, fearing that it was his own faith and that he would cause another angel to question theirs and worse that their would be consequences from other angels. Like others of his siblings he has a temper and short fuse when pushed the wrong way. He has more patience then others, an empathy to understand the emotions and choices of others, yet if witnessing harm coming to another angel, or humans, it angers him. He hopes the fall has a greater purpose but once again he feels doubtful. He thinks Castiel has gone Rogue and betrayed his brothers to cast them to earth, perhaps to teach them about what it means to live amongst humans. He knows of his brothers past betrayals and choices regarding his fondness for mankind and assumes he has taken drastic action. There fore he seeks to hunt Castiel down and make him answer, unaware that the ex-angel is now human.
Family and Contacts...
"I realize that the only way we've made it through all this is by hanging together."

Important others: Fond of Balthazar, Gabriel and previously Castiel. Holds Dean and Sam winchester in high regard.
Character History...
"I was gonna say you look like you'd seen a ghost, but you'd probably be stoked."
Kerubiel's true form is described in the book of Enoch (The Flames Which Dance Around the Throne of God) as being immensely tall with a body made of burning coals that is covered with thousands of eyes. His face is made of fire, his eyes sparks of light and he is covered with charcoal coloured wings from head to toe. Thunder, lightning, and earthquakes are his constant companions.
His vessels name was Andrew Walker, a business man from Chicago who had no family and lived for his job. When he lost his position from closures in the company he began drinking more heavily and fell into dispair, one evening things began to loom bleak for him, he took a swig of whisky and sat on the floor in his bathroom with a kitchen knife. As he pressed the point into his skin he heard a beautiful voice asking for his assistance. At first he was angry but soon he agreed, feeling nothing else was left for him in his old life.
Kerubiel's history follows that of Castiel and the other angels, yet he remained behind the scenes rather than in full view like some of his other brothers. He quietly supported his brothers efforts to raise Dean Winchester from hell, often fighting battles behind the scenes. He fought in wars to keep the seals of Lucifer's cage from being opened though did not act directly with humans during the time, feeling that his job was to fight along God's orders and not to act on his own interest. He began to feel his first glimmers of doubt as he watched the effects of free will, even more so as he saw angels fight amongst themselves during the wars for the apocalypse, in the end all the seals were broken and Kerubiel's internal doubts stronger than ever. Never had heaven lost so severely against Lucifer, it was then he heard rumours, whispers from other angels that they had not been acting on the orders of their Father at all, that he wasn't even present in heaven- that angels too high in their stature had orchestrated the entire thing.
He found himself watching the actions of his fellow angels after the war and apocalypse was averted with doubt and disbelief. He mourned the loss of Gabriel, hearing he had stood alone against Lucifer- not understanding why the other angels weren't ordered to assist him- his faith shaken as he watched Castiel in particular. He knew his brother was headed down a dark path but could see no way in which to alter it. He felt heartbroken as Castiel sided with Crowely, swallowed souls from purgatory and called himself a God- not understanding how his brother could act so boldly and commit something as blasphemous as stepping in their Father's place. When the Leviathans took over Castiel's body he assumed his brother was dead and turned his back on what was once an angel. He remained hesitant as Castiel reappeared- he had been brought back to life numerous times- which he assumed was God, but after his previous actions he wasn't so sure. He felt his anger rising as he watched the angel escaped purgatory and began to murder his brothers, in particular the loss of Balthazar hurt him deeply. Once again rumours and doubts circulated that orders where not from Heaven but angels with their own agendas. That Castiel was being controlled by the will of others. He grew frustrated at continuously being told to stand down and not act, feeling Castiel had to be stopped whether he was controlled or not. It wasn't until the angels were forced from heaven that he decided to act on his own agenda and is now hunting Castiel.

The first thing Kerubiel noticed was the cold, it bit and stung at his vessel and crawled deep through his flesh and worked into his bones. Each muscle contacted and shuddered against his, his chest tightening as if folding in on itself to keep warm. Slowly he opened his eyes, watching something twinkle beneath him, feeling it snap under his face and his breath send spirits like wisps into the air. He shifted, wincing as his shoulders protested and listened to the crunch as he moved, more cold bit as his skin as his fingers clutched at the ground beneath him.
Snow. He was on earth.
A blaze of orange shot across the snow flakes, sparkling like light over gemstones and drew in his attention as he stood. He rose his eyes to the sky to see his brother burn and melt in flames, his grace flaring out around him as his form plummeted in the distance. His eyes wide with fear before a steely expression set, a mask. He had heard Castiel as the others had. Looking behind him he saw his own destructive path where he had landed to Earth, gouging a chunk through rock and soil before finally coming to rest in the snow. Setting his eyes back at his brother he spread his wings to fly but stopped. His once fearsome smoke coloured wings were withered and broken, he felt flames or rage build as he started walking towards his fallen brother.
